The Caspian Tiger
|
Isolated from other tigers by the Himalaya
mountains, the Caspian tigers followed the migratory herds of boars, their preferred prey.
Second in size only to the Siberian, the Caspian was stocky with very long hair. Although
there are occasional claims of sightings close to the Caspian sea, the lack of solid
evidence suggests this species no longer exists. |
